Weekly OAgestures study

These are weekly OAGesture studies we started last weekend to improve quick posing...we practiced about 2 hours to reach 100 gestures...took 20 gestures' 5 sets with various time limits like 30sec, 60sec, 120sec...I used Charcoal Pencil and Pigma Micron Brush pen for these studies... Will be doing this studies in upcoming weekends, too! :) I'll share them asap I'll be getting some time... plz have a look! :)

This time, I tried using split complimentary color scheme... Selective only 3 colors... Medium yellow, Cobalt blue and Violet. Fun experience!!! Must try other split complimentary combinations... Will do in next vpa...

Just a practice to catch the colors and light effect. Using oil pastels after so long time, and I found that I need to practice more with this medium.

Few months ago, I got to know about a group called Virtual Plēin Air on FB. The group member artists do study virtually plein air landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, scenery, etc. from Google maps street view and panoramio. I was also very eager to start doing virtual plēin air studies....
